Hey guys i had some drop out issues with plex and my Xbox so i decided to re-install it on my Xbox once i did that i can know longer find PMS from my Xbox even though i type the new pin plex gave me. It see's my Xbox trying to connect in the devices menu but on my Xbox it say version 9.10.3 is required even though im running 9.11.1.6 i notice in the top right corner it is saying that my PMS is offline but it is working fine on everything else surely this is an xbox problem can anybody help it is driving my nuts .
The Xbox app needs your PMS to be visible from the internet - can you see it ok if you head to https://plex.tv/servers ?
Hi Dom yes i can see my server there it is working on my other devices at home phones laptops and pc i have debugging turned on but i have no idea how to read it any help we be awesome
At risk of sounding like bad IT support - could you please try restarting the XB1 app? If you go back to the xbox homescreen and hit the 'menu' button on your controller, when over the Plex tile, you can quit the app.
Hi Dom i just did that and it still says no server on-line 0.9.10.3 needed im running the server on a qnap nas but like i said before it was working until i removed it to see if the unexpected error message would disappear
It turned out that it was my wireless router when I changed the Xbox to the 5ghz it could not find the Xbox even though the nas is hard wired to the router
