Xbox Stops Playing after 3-5 minutes continuously

I am still having a problem when playing movies from my Synology DS918+ NAS to my Xbox whereby the file will play for about 3-5 mintues and then stop and buffer. Sometimes it will buffer for 0.5 of a second and continue and then other times it will buffer for a lifetime. As soon as I hit B to go back to the menu i get a micro-snippet of sound and then the menu. If I hit play 2 out of 10 times it will will start again but 8 out of 10 it will just buffer for ever.

If I go to Xbox home, quit plex, open plex again and resume from where I last left off it will play again fine for another 3-5 minutes.

If I check the monitor from my laptop, I have noticed it says Video: Direct Stream / Audio: Transcoding: TRUEHD to AAC. After 10 seconds it will say “Throttled” which I have read means that Plex has transcoded enough and it’s waiting to start again. I am not sure what is happening but it seems that sometimes it just doesn’t start again and thats why the video stops and buffers forever.

The NAS isn’t under any kind of stress, CPU is at 10% and network is at 2-3MB/s when it’s capable of going up to 70MB/s without any issues.

Why does this keep happening, it is very frustrating - I watched First Man the other night - a 2h06m movie… took me 3h10m because of the constant stopping and starting.
