in the original plex app this movie does play with sound in Direct Play.
with your app for android it only Plays video with no audio in Direct Play.
if i choose the transcode option then both video and audio plays.
i tried a few files with EAC3 audio with same results.
Iāve found the problem with eac3ā¦

I just tried 2 Movies with EAC3 and both worked with Video and Audio (Direct Play), but the Video stutters all the time

I tried this movie and it played without sound in Direct Play mode. But and without stutters as well
Ah alright, yea, i wont download anything from torrent 
i tried HEVC codec Movies, maybe thats why.

I canāt say because it depends on your device at least, content containers (.mp4, .mkv, .avi for example) and so on.
As you could read yeasterday - there were an issue with eac3 codec. So in next update it should be solved. If you have issues with sound after this update - you will need to give me a link to download the contant that is played without sound. I will check it.

For example to see a movie in 1080p format ac3 5.1 or 5.1 dts as I must configure xplay so it does not transcode? And I repeat my apologies for my ignorance and thank you very much for everything.
This is how I set it, but then in transcoding you have to put a DASH, HLS or HTTP option and there as you said or wanted to read is for the audio, then the audio always transcoded ?, or is there any way that it does not ?, another question when we choose external player and share option transcodes ?, thanks a salu2.

Transcoding settings are not used with direct play mode. So when you direct play you movie these settings donāt affect on anything

You can share a movie only for direct playing.

Because having the option directplay the server where the movies are tells me to transcode? And proof that is true is that on some occasion changing down in transcoding for example from HLS to DASH I can see it.
