Yes, remote access is failing here too, after working fine, for weeks

Player Version#: Samsung TV

So I need help and I see a lot of people with the same problem. I had Plex Media running for a couple of weeks, maybe a month. Working great.

The ONLY change I did to the system is update the server. Now I cannot watch a film on my TV. The server and the TV say I am offline, but I can still watch a film on my telephone.
If i reset the connection it says online for some moments and then goes offline again.

So it works on devices NOT directly connected to my modem (either WIFI or Cable). So I can see the server on my telephone, but not on my tv, which is directly connected to the modem.

So I forwarded the port 32400 on my modem, that doesn’t do anything. Checked my firewall:

Plex DLNA server private and public checked
Plex Media server private and public checked
Plex Scripting Host private and public checked
Plex Tuner Service private and public checked

Going nuts here, Would either: Redo everything , and delete all the settings (reinstalled but the settings remained) (UPDATE: Did that, didn’t help) or would really appreciate some help.(File removed)

My modem is a Connectbox. I just need it to work on my own network. Don’t care about outside my network.

I just had the same problem. I’m not sure what firewall you use, but that was the problem on my end. If AVG, open your firewall then network profiles and set your network to private. That should fix the problem. If not AVG, check for a similar setting and you may have success.

Hmmm firewall is the one that came with windows and the entries are all ok.

If your issue is about Plex not showing inside your home network (for devices connected directly to your modem/router), then it’s not about remote access.

Do you know what might be the problem is then, or what I could do to get more information? It just stopped working, and I have no clue why. I uploaded some log files. If you could help, that would really be great.

From what the logs show it looks like some network communication is being blocked, preventing Plex from connecting to some plex.tv resources (could be DNS rebind protection).

However there’s no obvious errors about clients failing to connect. Your server appears to see some of those clients quite fine (e.g. the Samsung TV).

Are you able to access your Plex Media Server via browser:
