Yet another can't add library to new PMS install

I’ve read the forums and other places like reddit. The suggestions there aren’t solving it. I install a new plex media server on my ubuntu server. I navigate via browser to my server on port 32400. I log into my brand new plex account. And then, I get no option to add a library. I then PURGE the debian pkg from my server, ensuring there’s no leftover preferences file laying around. I even purge cache and cookies from my browser. I start from the beginning again. And again, the same behavior. Help? I’d really like to add a library. And actually I’m doing this to try to repro a photo library problem I’m having on my primary plex account/server where the photos are blank/black…

Add /web after the port number.

That did it! Hitting it via, IP: http://10.0.0.14:32400/web/. Why oh why would that cause it to work? … Sigh. Thank you!

The /web endpoint of the URL is for the web player.
All the other Plex apps use the XML data you see there rather than having two addresses/ports.

Everything knows http://IP.addr.of.Server:32400 . One address works for all.
