12hours and still can't reset my password-

because i don’t get an email to do so… shame on you plex.

I was able to change my password last night. Sent out the new password to my users after I made sure I was able to log into my account using the new password. Fast forward to now, I’m getting texts from friends and family saying they can’t get in and are getting the message, “User could not be authenticated.” I logged myself out, then tried to log myself back in, surprise, surprise, now I can’t log into my account. *insert angry emoji.

Had some issues in the beginning with the 4-digit code being accepted into the Link box. But I kept trying and it worked eventually. Probably the system getting hammered.

update. its now more than 24 hours. no response whatsoever. great show.

latest news- finally all works just fine again.

Password reset mechanism seems to be very broken :frowning: Not ideal given the data breach.

I got my email - 8 hours aftrer requesting it - clickign the link initially led me to a login page. When I finally got it to goto correct place - said it was expired, despite it supposedly being valid for 24 hours.

Have just requested a new one… I guess I’ll be waiting a few hours again.

Have any of the team actually tested this?? Seems pretty critical that this should be working flawlessly right now… a data breach can happen - the response to it is the real measure. Poor form.
