A New Issue With Scanning - Wrong Posters/Description Due To Reboot/Remake

One thing that I have been noticing of late is that due to all the reboots/remakes of movies, that the wrong poster/description/cast have been appearing. For example, I synced/scanned the 1967 version of The Jungle Book, but of course everything was the 2016 version. I manually changed everything except for the cast as apparently we can not change this.

Is there any options to change this or can we get the option to choose which version we would like to have?

Consequently adding the release year in parentheses to all file and folder names should prevent that.

You might have to perform the Plex Dance to clear the mismatch from the Plex database.
