Server Version#: PlexMediaServer-1.25.2.5319-c43dc0277-x86_64
Player Version#: QNAP TVS-672XT Version 4.5.4.1800
All of a sudden I am not able to see my library files. I have read and tried reinstalling the PMS with Plex Pass as well as stopping and starting PMS - did not fix. When I open my Plex I can see libraries shared with me and Plex’s channels. I can however see and watch my movies from other Plex account that I shared with previously. But when I log into my account it is showing that I am not sharing any libraries. I do not even have the option to see my server settings to see if I can view my libraries outside my house. My options in settings is very limited - see attached photo.
Thank you for your response. No I never deleted the PMS, I just updated it from the previous version, then tried reinstalling it. The issue seems to have happened after I changed internet providers and received a new router (not positive though). Last night we went to watch a movie from my AppleTV and it stated that the server was down. I came into my den to access my QNAP and noticed that in Plex it did not show my libraries or give me the option to see my server settings. I saw there was a new version of PMS, so I downloaded it and updated through QNAP’s applications. That did not chance anything so I tried reinstalling it, open it waited 30 seconds and closed it. Did this twice and that did not fix it.
I looked at the article you posted and I do not really understand it seeing that my PMS and all my libraries are on my QNAP. Not sure how I access those setting/files it mentioned. Sorry, kind of a newbie here.
This would allow you to access the plexdata share, which also gives access to the logs
But since you mentioned a new router, I suspect that your QNAP simply can’t access the internet, so from QNAP QTS, check that your IP, default router and your DNS settings are okay
Dane22,
Thank you for all of your assistance - YOU ROCK!! I was able to get everything working again with all of the support documents you sent me. The issue ended up being that my QNAP was not able to access the internet with the IP that was assigned to it. Once I changed the settings in Qfinder Pro and added the port forwarding to my new router, everything was back up and running :).
Thank you again, I really appreciate all of your help.
