Attack on Titan Season 3 showing only the first 12 episodes

Server Version: 1.18.1.1973
Player Version#:

As the title says, Plex only finds the first 12 episodes of the season 3 from Attack on Titan. The episodes are in the same folder and properly name. They continue from S3E12 (the last one showing) to S3E13 (from here to E22 they are not showing)

what exact folder and naming? should be something like below

/data/media/tv/Attack on Titan (2013)/Season 03/Attack on Titan (2013) - s03e14 - Thunder Spears.mkv

Yes, that is the show.!

They are named exactly like that.

Hmm, the (year) is missing, but if the show is already matched correctly then I would assume that isn’t the problem.

I would check the agent and/or try ā€˜fix match’ at the show level (not season/episode).

The agend is TheTVDB and it picked the season instantly from 01 to 12. I’ve tried to fix match but it didn’t solve anything.

its working for me

/media/TV-Archived/Attack on Titan (2013)/Season 03/Attack on Titan (2013) - s03e14 - Thunder Spears - x264 AAC.mkv

I’d feel better suggesting:

Attack on Titan (2013)/
....Season 03/
.........Attack on Titan (2013) - s03e14 - Thunder Spears [x264 AAC].mkv

Plex ignores everything in a [bracket], but if it works, it works.
TVDB is having issues - could be a local problem for the OP.
Keep trying it now and then, but if you really want a ā€˜Do-Over’:

Plex Dance the whole show:

All the Steps, in the Order Described, or it WON’T WORK.

afaik, plex ignores everything after the s03e14

so the episode title etc don’t affect matching (in my experience).

but yes, a better idea to put [videocodec audiocodec] in brackets.

when it comes to movies, obviously

  • title (year) [extra stuff here]

I have known Plex to freak out with too many dashes… My OCD runs my life, so… I use brackets…

Plex still fumbles 10%, so does it matter? Probably not…lol

I’ve tried the plex dance and it only recognizes the first 12 episodes again. I can’t see what the problem can be.

Before doing anything else:
Enable Debug Logging, Disable Verbose Logging:
Settings/General

Then I would rename those files without all the nonsense at the ends.

Like that - or now that we’re grabbing at straws:

Attack on Titan/ ....Season 03/ .........Attack on Titan - s03e14.mkv

Let’s remove all possibilities for strangeness - and let Plex do it’s best.
AFTER renaming:
DO ANOTHER PLEX DANCE!

If Plex fumbles the show, Fix Match.

If Problems persist prepare to download those fresh logs we just made - when requested to do so.

I’ve renamed the files and did a plex dance but still plex only find the first 12.

Settings/Troubleshooting

Download a set of logs
Drag the zip file to a message and drop it.

I’ve restarted the server, scanned the library and it worked. I don’t know what caused the issue, probably something strange with linux. Can’t believe I didn’t thought about restarting the server.

Thank you for your time!

On ā€œLinusā€ - I wouldn’t have even tried. <—ain’t no ā€˜Linus’ guy.

Glad it worked, but that’s important information you omitted.
