I have two a plex pass account with
Nvidia shield running Plex that suddenly says “SHIELD Android TV is currently unavailable”
when accessing remotely.
And a Unraid server running Binhex plexpass in a docker that is suddenly saying
Tower9-8-19 is currently unavailable when accessing remotely.
I assume that something has changed on the app.plex.tv side of this arrangement as both have been working without issue up until today.
My server is offline as of today as well. I have tried everything under the sun to get it back online but every time i try to reconnect it will go green for a few seconds and then it will say offline.
…exactly the same problem I’m having. Goes green for about fifteen seconds, then back to red. Everything was working fine this morning…then started having problems accessing my server this afternoon at the office. Tried uninstalling the server a couple of times…going back to earlier versions…no luck. I noticed that the Plex download site was having problems as well…what’s up Plex??? First time I’ve had this extended server connection problem in years…
Same here. I know my server is not updated so I’ll try it when I get home. But because it’s happening to other people, apparently is something on Plex side
https://app.plex.tv/desktop cannot find my server anymore. i have included a screenshot showing plex is running. i can also see it running in task manager. it’s all located on the same machine, firewall is off, and the ports have been verified open.
i have since uninstalled the plex server from the pc and downloaded a fresh copy. It still cannot find the running server. i will assume that the current build is bad, and uninstall it… and wait patiently for the new build.
