Cannot get Remote acces to work

My router is from Xfinity so I don’t want to change any settings that might get me in trouble but I am not able to remote access? Occasionally it will connect then immediately fail

if you are running that xfinity security app you probably need to disable it. Xfinity XFi Security and impact on availability of Remote Access

I’ve disabled that, I have NordVPN on, would that do something

I’ve never used NordVPN but you probably have to forward ports in that. Not all VPN software allows you to.
