I had the same problem. This is what worked for me: I went back to the server setup screen. At the top of the screen it indicated that THIS SERVER IS UNASSIGNED, Do you want to claim it? I did so. It updated something in the background. Then I attempted to setup my DVR again and this time, it worked for me.

This resolved my issue. Thanks skipWeeks
I ended up moving to another machine and going through the setup process from that machine and was able to set it up. The original machine is still the host but set up Live TV and DVR through the other machine.
Still no fix? Same issue, Iām setting up DVR and the continue button is unavailable after the zip code.
I had this issue, but once I signed in and claim the server, I was able to get past the zip code screen.
This issue is back and I cannot setup my new box.
Iāve removed my DVR setup in order to move to the newly advertised enhanced guide and since then, Iām not able to pass the āpostal codeā step. Please fix!!!
Have you entered the zip code in all capital letters and no spaces as shown in the example in the Postal Code box?
Thanks for pointing out to input the postal code as suggested by the example⦠Iāve been banging my head on this for the past hour⦠the field is case sensitive! Incredible. FYI, Iām in Canada and I was trying x1y2z3, x1y, x1y 2z3, X1Y 2Z3⦠no errors in the verbose logs⦠but the continue button would not highlight⦠After reading the above, I tried X1Y2Z3. And it worked!!
Plex, please, this field needs to be case insensitive and allow spaces. In Canada the correct format for postal code is X1Y 2Z3.
Thanks!
Same here, tx! You would have believe that case sensitive fields were things of the past in 2020 but it appears not
Itās not only the case (pun intended) but also the format⦠I suspect a regex validation behind the scene⦠I understand that validating this field must be difficult given the various formats all around the globe⦠Tho, by validating by selected countries (Canada,) it should be easier. That said, I donāt want to be coaching from the sidelines.
Turning off ublock ended up solving the issue for me after running into this issue just now.
[possibly fixed] I think this is some sort of strange settings bug. I made two changes, and things magically started working. I āclaimedā my local plex server and I chose a default language. After I did that, everything worked.
For the record: I recently played around with PMS on various virtual machines/OSs and ran into this exact issue intermittently across all installs; āContinueā kept being greyed out despite a valid postal code was entered. At some point, the issue just resolved itselfā¦
My postal code is only numbers, so the field being case sensitive doesnāt explain it.
I think TommyUās observations are correct: The times the issue resolved itself for me was usually on installs where the settings had been altered beyond just setting up live-tv. I have no idea which setting made the difference, though.
I had the same issue. Turns out my DNS config on the server was not set properly. Seems the DVR Service needs proper DNS resolving.
I am also just starting to experience this as of today. Live TV stopped working with HDHR as of today, so I deleted and tried to re-setup DVR. But I cannot get past zip code. I have confirmed there are DNS resolution issues on my network or for the Plex server.
Any other ideas?
