I have tried: Mission: Impossible III, Mission Impossible III, M:i:iii and the imdb tt0317919 nothing seems to pick it up. The Agent and language always seem to stay as loading. The drop down next to auto match has nothing in it. How do I fix this? See screenshot:
I’ve used the IMDB tt######## in the title and selected the agent
This works for me:
/Mission Impossible III (2006) [2160p]
Mission Impossible III (2006) [2160p].mkv
See Media Preparation guidelines. Specifically, Naming Movie Files.
Use of brackets is not mentioned in the guidelines. As mentioned in other forum posts, Plex ignores text between square brackets.
Also, perform the Plex Dance after renaming any media file.
My file format,
/Mission Impossible III (2006)
Mission Impossible III (2006) (tt0317919) (1080p).en.srt
Mission Impossible III (2006) (tt0317919) (1080p).en.cc.srt
Mission Impossible III (2006) (tt0317919) (1080p).mp4
once in a while Plex still cant figure it out.
I put the ‘tt0317919’ in title for Fix Match and select the Agent ‘The Movie Database’
since the Database tt is in the file format it’s easier to find what it matches…
dgwharrison,
This may not be an isue but something that happen from time to time with me. Where Agent and Language show ‘loading…’, I end up restarting the PLEX app on my server and that tends to kick it into gear.
+1 on nydave69 and FordGuy61’s posts. That’s solid advice!
