I have just joined Plex and subscribed to a monthly Plex Pass, i have the server installed on a Dell laptop, my media opens ok on laptop and also on my LG smart TV, locally, the problem i am having is when trying to access remotely on my android phone the Plex app is not finding the server either locally or remotely, i am using a new sky router with the UPnP is on and showing the ports 32400 Internal and 23518 external ports seem to be set up ok, i have even tried using manual port forwarding and this dose not work either. Signing in to the Plex android app does not find the server which i am also signed in to. Any ideas anyone
disable upnp and setup a manual port forward.
set your laptop as a static IP.
get port 32400 setup
go to canyouseeme.org and test port 32400 for success.

as long as your IP doesn’t change you should be good.

No go I’m afraid… Set up manual port forwarding 32400…used canyouseeme on mobile which can see port, but plex app still not seeing it…

Is your laptop hardwire or wireless?

Have you tried hardware your laptop, with a static IP?

Yep… Tried hardwired and have IP reserved… Port visible on local network but not outside…?
