I have a corrupted file in my movie library i Plex thats endlessly tries to update metadata.
I’ve had alot of trouble with this file trying to delete it without success.
Removing the file from the library and scanning doesn’t remove this object in plex library.
Even tried a database restore and still same issue when the library is back. I just can’t get rid of the object in Plex library.
Is there a way to hard delete all knowledge/metadata in the database for a file in plex?
As i have custom titels, sorting-titels, posters, tags and so on on alot of movies in the library that i really don’t wanna go over and change movie for movie again.
When i remove the fil from the folder and then starts a new scan in plex library, the file stays in the plex library as if it still exists in the folder.
Sometimes, the scanning of the folder to update the plex library starts and finish within a few sec. (as normal) but sometimes this instead get stuck in an endless scanning not stopping untill i stop the plex server from package center in synology.
I’ve let it scan for a long time, several times trying to see if it helped.
Sometimes even 30-60+ and after that i stoped it as i expected it to never stop.
But this time it ended after 30 min or so and finally removed the movie in the library.
Not sure what made the difference, but it gone now.
