I can see the preset options (without a Plex Pass) include “Younger Kid”, “Older Kid” and “Teen” but they seem to refer to the US rating system e.g. PG-13 etc whereas my library uses the UK system for movies e.g. 12A, 12, 15, 18.
Any idea if it can be configured to use the UK ratings as this basic filtering is all I need for our family rather than the fully configurable option via Plex Pass?
I have not yet been able to test/confirm this… but according to the related support article, the respective profiles are not limited to the US content ratings but also equivalent international ratings (without clearly mapping, which rating is part of which profile).

There are several preset profiles available:
- Younger Kid: allows TV-Y, G, TV-G, and other equivalent ratings
- Older Kid: allows all the ratings from the lower profile as well as TV-PG, PG, and other equivalent ratings
- Teen: allows all the ratings from the lower profiles as well as TV-13, PG-13, and equivalent ratings
- None: Can see all content ratings.
When selecting “None” users with an active Plex Pass subscription can set advanced restrictions based on custom labels and content ratings.
I’ve just done a bit more testing with our UK ratings and it appears to be an issue with our U rating (Universal, comparable with the US G rating).
Older kid restricts to PG but no U films visible. Teen restricts to PG, 12A and 12 but no U films visible. Younger Kid shows nothing, not even U!
