UK Parental Controls

I would like to resurrect a prior thread related to parental controls and specifically with regard to UK ratings:

The preset profiles only seem to relate to TV ratings and not Movie in the Parentals Controls article (https://support.plex.tv/articles/parental-controls/). Why is that?

If I were to compare the current parental controls to the UK rating system, I would expect the following:

Younger Kid: U
Older Kid: + PG
Younger Teen: +12 and 12A
Older Teen: 15

So at the moment, there is no distinction between a younger and older teen; in my opinion, there should be as a Teen in the UK who is 15 should be able to watch 15 rated movies (with parental permission obviously).

Looking at the table in this link, you can see why I am suggesting a split of teens into younger and older. I note that the US really has only one rating system for teens, PG-13, although there is R for 17-year-olds (still a teen!) and above yet the UK has 12/12A and 15 catering for the teenage years…

Any comments?

Does anyone from the Plex team read these boards?

So I bought the Plex Pass to resolve this issue however it is a little disappointing not to have had a response to this.

Simply put, for UK users with children, the current Teen categorisation doesn’t work!

That’s only a Plex Pass functionality!

As I said above, I bought that Pass just so I could do this rather than it being a standard feature for the reason/logic I have pointed out.

I wasn’t a Plex Pass user when I created this thread. Sadly it never got a reply before I purchased the Pass, especially as its probably the only reason why I have made that purchase.

Is there any chance a Plex dev team member can take a look at this? @PlexInfo @drzoidberg33 @DaveBinM

Apologies to drag and tag you here but am hoping that this finally gets a response.
