Does Plexamp on a Raspberry Pi require a PlexPass to allow remote control?

My daughter uses Plex at home for her movies & tv shows. She also has her music library on her Plex server & has started using PlexAmp on her phone to stream her music in her car.
I’ve put together a Raspberry Pi running Plexamp & it does joined it to her Plex account. Via it’s web interface it sees her music library, but when she goes to control it using Plexam on phone when she’s at home & on her wifi, it does not see the raspberry pi.
Does she need a Plex Pass to enable remote control of Plexamp on the Raspberry Pi?
TIA

The headless app requires a Plex Pass; your daughter’s phone should see it on the network, but it needs to be on the same network for discovery. Plexamp logs might be helpful if that’s the case.

Thanks, definitely not a network issue. Her phone is on the same network as the Pi, as is my laptop with Plexamp onit. Neither of them can “see” the Pi.
I’ll tell her she needs a Plex Pass, I’ve been urging her to get one for a long time.

Thanks!

Ah, I misread, I thought the Pi was signed in on your account. With a Plex Pass it should work.
