Hi, I just tried downloading the new iBaa release, but it did not help, unfortunately :(

Still no artwork and error when trying to play files.

  • TV2 or ATV3?: ATV3

  • Your ATV firmware version (found under the ATV settings > general > about > Apple TV software): 5.2.1

  • The DNS server set on the ATV (found under the ATV settings > general > network > DNS): 192.168.1.1

  • The device and operating system (including version number) that PlexConnect is installed on: Windows 7 SP1

  • The local IP address of the device that PlexConnect is installed on: 192.168.1.10

  • The device and operating system (including version number) that the Plex media server (PMS) is installed on:Windows 7 SP1

  • The local IP address of the device that the Plex media server (PMS) is installed on:192.168.1.10

  • Where your media is stored (e.g. internal drive) External drive (I tried internal no difference)

  • The PlexConnect version number. If using Github source then a time and date of download (look at the creation date of the folder) and if you are using any testing branch e.g. the Elan/PlexInc one: iBaa (creation date 9th July 13.13)

  • Phyton version 2.7.5 (guess it is 32bit)

I got VMWare running. I'm going to try it on a virgin windows 7 ultimate.

Hi guys, great that it's working for a bunch of folk!

Unfortunately I get the 'An error occurred loading this content. Try again later' message. Everything works fine, except when I go to play the media file, I get the above message.

Details as follows:

Your configuration is either wrong or you do not have a DCHP reservation setup for your PMS. Your have the configuration pointing at .10 rather than .12

 I got VMWare running plexconnect I get this error http://pastebin.com/Nqc0ikqS how can I fix it. I'm getting the same error on the regular machine.

I fix it. I turn on a feature in windows "internet information services" that cause that to happen. Turn off and no error.

I can't get plexconnect to work on my virtual machine. http://pastebin.com/xNHRwZTd terminal. Is not coming up in the trailers app in ATV3

@Puchdog are you sure PMS is running on this ip (192.168.40.128)? You log says it is running on that IP, but I saw in one of your other post that you PMS was running on 192.168.1.40. So even if you are running Windows in VMWare, should the IP not be something like 192.168.1.xx?

That's the ip in the VM. In the regular machine plexconnect works but with the issue of no video.

You have your ATV configured at the wrong IP, it should be 192.168.1.10.

I have installed windows on a machine but have been out until now.

Let me see if i can reproduce the issue.

Puchdog please let me know what version of python you are running and if it 32 or 64 bit.

Amy updates, i have tried the new files but still a no go

Now its working :slight_smile: but I do not know what caused the problem because I only did a reinstall of my win7 x64, and after that artwork and playback is working perfectly. But at least we know it is not network related then…

Anyone who it is not working for, can you go into PMS web management and kick off media analysis for all your sections and see if it makes a difference once it has completed.

You can still select options for both on the play screen but try are now a sub menu off of one button for a cleaner look.
