:( can i change something in XX.js?
Your configuration is either wrong or you do not have a DCHP reservation setup for your PMS. Your have the configuration pointing at .10 rather than .12
Ah, yes. Rookie error. I've amended that to .12. Still no dice, same error :/
Everything for me seems to work except when trying to play .avi files. Same files work through web, but not through PlexConnect. I've tried the solution from another thread by pulling in the updated source, still getting "An Error occured when loading this content."
Good to know Rubi.
Anyone who it is not working for, can you go into PMS web management and kick off media analysis for all your sections and see if it makes a difference once it has completed.
How is this done. I'm confuse also I'm still having the same problem
I think I figure how to do media analysis. Still have no cover art and still no video playback here's my terminal log http://pastebin.com/TXkRyLMT
I'm having the same problem it appears everyone in this forum is; everything comes up fine and works as expected until I actually try to play something. Then I just get an that it can't load, try later.
Details below.
Thanks for all the help!

The PlexConnect version number. If using Github source then a time and date of download (look at the creation date of the folder) and if you are using any testing branch e.g. the Elan/PlexInc one. - I'm using the one that was just posted

[PlexConnect]
Actually I forgot to mention that while I was waiting for the computer to reinstall I signed up as a plexpass member (seemed only fair with all the help I get around here :)), which means I also downloaded the preview version of PMS 0.9.8. So I cannot rule out if it was the new pms version or the reinstall of Win7 that did the trick for me. The only thing I do know is that right now I’m just a happy plexconnect user

Could you try temporarily downgrading the PMS to see if the issue returns?
Is there any progress in getting plexconnect working for us with issues?
Not yet,
Rubl - what happens if you downgrade the PMS again?
Everyone else - can you try doing a deep scan of a section (setup a test one if need be).
I am trying to replicate the issue.
Hi,
I was having the same issues as reported on this thread.
After upgrading to the latest changes, it was still not working.
But I've found a problem:
- My Windows 7 box is using the IP 192.168.1.10 but PlexConnect found Plex Server through the IP 169.254.xxx.xxx
I found that this is the IP assigned to one of the VMWare's virtual interface!
Eigher disabling the VMWare virtual interface or setting enable_plexgdm = False (and setting the correct IP on the Settings.py) resolved my problems.
I'm just having problems with subtitles, that works on some movies, and some it didn't work, but that is another problem.
Thank you!
I am unable to replicate this at all, it just works straight away on a fresh setup :(
I would try the deep scan of a section.

Can you explain in more detail how you did this? Possibly pasting the changes in settings.py
Thanks to everyone on this forum. I finally got it working. I did what zeeto did and it works. foob4r you called it patience thanks. :D

Hi, I see you got it working, but to everyone that have the same issue, just edit the file Settings.cfg, and set enable_plexgdm = False, as below:
Sorry, have had no time to test with a downgrade of PMS. But I can confirm that I also had VMWare installed, so it seems that Zeeto´s solution is quite plausible.
I will try with to downgrade, if others cannot get it to work with Zeeto´s solution.

Hope it helps
Huh? Why is that? If you really disable GDM you have at least to get your "hardcoded" PMS Addr right.
I just don't see ANY possibility how this could affect thumbnail loading...
How and where do I put these settings for enable_plexgdm because I have looked in the settings.py and I am confused where this would go or be edited?
This is what I did to get it working. I downloaded a fresh copy of plexconnect and I edited the settings.py file. I changed this
