I had exactly the same problems as above, where the firestick 4k is concerned, make sure you have the latest very firmware installed and then turn off the default setting in the latest Plex Firestick app to transcode interlaced tv, this worked for me! Earlier firestick 4k firmware had a problem playing interlaced video (older firesticks & the later fire tv cube never had this problem!) I believe plex introduced this new option to transcode interlaced media, to help the 4k deal with this problem, but the latest firestick 4k firmware cures this problem anyhow. now this option seems redundant & if left in its default of switched on, then it causes the problems above i.e.bombing back to tv guide after 3 mins or so & loss of dashboard details etc. Turned the option off in the app options now everything working as it should. Hope this info may help somebody elseā¦

Disabling āTranscode Interlaced Live TVā on the Fire Stick 4k causes really bad audio sync issues on most channels for me. Plus this crashing bug is more widespread than just the Fire Stick 4k, it appears to affect many android TV devices.

I, too, get the audio desync on SD channels when interlaced is turned off, so it really isnāt a solution.
@nakat0mi, You are right. I think they are all SD channels that cause that audio sync issue.
Hmmm strange, I donāt seem to be experiencing any audio sync issues at all in this configuration?

Hello, Iāve just notice a thing. The live tv seems to work when you start watching directly from the guide. (see activity in plex and tautulli). If i start from shortcut on home, it failed after 5 min.

Was watching Live TV channel 6.1 news and it crashed back to the guide after about 3 minutes or so. Here is the point in the fire stick logs where it crashed.

I uploaded the PMS logs and the fire stick 4k logs.
Let me know if you need anything else to help troubleshoot.

It did not make any difference. Still crashed back to the guide after about 3 minutes as usual.

Mine is doing the same. Takes longer than 30 seconds. I have been using Plex with my own files for years with no problems. Now that I bought Plex Pass and use live Tv with HD Homerun Prime, I have issues. DVR seems fine. Hd Homerun app plays live tv no problem. All devices are wired by ethernet. Server is on i7 4790 and client is fire stick 4k. I attached errors from logs. Could those be causing problems with live tv? Also, windows 10 client gets playback error and kicks back to guide after a while.
I am also getting those XML errors but I donāt think they have anything to do with the issue.
What a piece of **** product. I have the plex pass for one day and it doesnāt provide the service that I bought it for - live TV. Does Plex respond to these comments?
I turned off transcode interlaced live TV under the Plex app advanced settings and that seemed to have worked. (for now)
