HDR 10 Banding/Moirè in Plex TV OS App + transcode TrueHD to Flac?

During 4K HDR 10 playback for some reason it seems like highlights but especially in backgrounds seems to really band/moirè. Plus Dolby TrueHD is transcoding to Flac. I also tried playing the same file back in Infuse and there was no issue with banding and direct played the audio.

yeah its an issue plex have been aware of for months, they dont care, infuse works perfectly i would suggest switching to that for 4k content.

Is there already a pre-existing thread for this? I was looking around but couldn’t find anything.
