Help Tv shows not showing properly

I had to replace my plex server drives so I reinstalled Plex into my Trunas system.
I have uploaded all the tv shows just as before.
But now the TV shows are missing the cover art and the names are not pulling properly.
1-Nameing.
I have checked the naming convention articles.
Mine are in M:\Media\TV Shows
and for example M:\Media\TV Shows\Stargate Atlantis\Stargate Atlantis Season 1
well the episodes show as the Date I uploaded them. Not say “Episode 2 hide and seek” or whatever it might be called.
2-Cover art.
All of the tv shows are showing Blank box’s until you go to the individual episodes.
They all used to show properly the show cover art.

Any help in this as my family uses this wonderful plex and they are technology duh.

The current-generation Plex TV Series agent has several improvements but it’s also more strict. Make sure to actually follow the naming schema from those support articles, e.g. stick to Season 01 instead of Stargate Atlantis Season 1 for the season folder.

to what Tom said, also make sure you have SxxExx in the file name, Episode X may not be enough for the scanner.

Unfortunately nope didn’t change.
File name in system for example shows -
“M:\Media\TV Shows\Star Trek The Next Generation\Star Trek TNG Season 01\S01E01 - Encounter At Farpoint.mp4”
But when I refresh plex it still shows as episode 1.
And the main page still is blank for the show.

Well… you don’t seem to have applied the suggested changes in the first place, have you?

go with this:

M:\Media\TV Shows                <- the folder linked to your library
  Star Trek The Next Generation
    Season 01                    <- JUST THAT
      S01E01 - Encounter At Farpoint.mp4

Gonna bet you have prefer local metadata enabled. Disable that, and Plex dance the show.

Ugg. Ok I understand the plex dance.
but I can’t seem to find the metadata enabled option.
Where is that?

Which step exactly are you asking about?

Go to Library => Edit => Advanced and scroll down there is an Prefer local metadata option.
