Plex is working with Hisense on the problem, but have to wait on Hisense to push out updates to fully resolve things.

Here’s what I was able to find out. Plex is working with Hisense to make the app more widely available, but availability is currently limited to US and Europe. A separate thread mentions a limited number of users in Australia have been able to install it. The holdup is on Hisense’s side. Plex is waiting on them. Hisense has confirmed this is the fix, they’re rolling out a firmware update over several weeks to improve support for the Plex app. The good news is once the firmware update is available you’ll get the Plex app back, the bad news is it’ll be missing before the update is applied. We don’t have an timeline when these updates will be fully rolled out at this time.
