Hi Whenever I try to record a show like Coronation street or emmerdale that has a double episode it will add both to the planner but once the first episode has recorded the second episode disappears from the planner until I delete the first episode why is this still happening after all the updates plex server has had i really thought this would be fixed by now or am i doing something wrong?
Please Help this is really annoying!
What version of server are you running?
I have seen this occur if the episode name is the same. It will show 2 versions for that show.
There is a problem with recording multiple episodes on the same day for Coronation Street and emmerdale. It was thought to have been fixed when similar issues were addressed for the Olympics but it was not
It is being worked on at the moment and if you search for emmerdale and coronation street you will find many forum threads on the subject
Ah I see yeah I did see the fix a couple of server updates ago so deleted my emby and set up Plex again but the problem is still there.
Although tonight it did record both episodes of Corrie but it put the data round the wrong way so first episode said it was the second and second said it was the first.
I guess it’s back to emby till this gets fixed

Im getting this message and now plex has uninstalled ![]()

Ignore that after i rebooted and tried again it installed
Not sure if this is related to recent changes to fix this
I record these shows the following day (so this morning i recorded 2 Emmerdale and 1 Coronation Street)
The original aired date/file name is wrong for Emmerdale, both the episodes have a date of 30/03, when they should have 29/03
This has only just started happening, yesterday it was fine

I have sent you private message with link to development version 1.12.2.4930-9330e3c4f
It is important that an EPG Refresh is instigated and completed after the install before scheduling the multiple airings recordings

can’t say without diagnostics. Best to see what happens with the new version you will be trying
Thanks
Just about to install now
There is a double airing of Emmerdale at lunch time today (repeat from last night) and 2 new Coronation Streets tonight
Will set this up from scratch and delete current recordings to test these
All Set
Removed all episodes of these shows, emptied trash, cleaned bundles, optimised database, refreshed the EPG and set both these shows to record (all episodes)
I have a feeling Emmerdale is going to have issues, looks like the Gracenote data is wrong
This is tonights episodes, but the details have it as April 2nd, should be March 30th (same for other Emmerdale airings), this is the Freeview EPG
EDIT:Emmerdale EPG looks good from the 4th, so its just the next few days that are wrong
Coronation Street looks good, last nights airing is showing to record at lunchtime and the 2 episodes tonight also look good
