I am have problems with the show rod sterling's night gallery

i am having a problem with the night gallery in filebot

  1. it is list the three stories that appear in the tv movie as the first 3 episodes which there are not on the series
  2. most episodes of the first 2 seasons have multiple stories but each story in filebot/tvdb are listed as its own episode
    3.this is a strange but a story called witches feast was cut from repeats and the dvds it is still listed as an episode on filebot/tvdb and i dont know how to change it

  1. You can organize your files using either the Aired order or DVD order. In Plex, edit the show (not season or episode) to pick your preferred organization (mouse over the show icon, click on pencil in lower left corner). See screenshot below (there is no Absolute order for Night Gallery).

  2. If the files on the DVD contain multiple episodes, you (a) split them using MKVToolNix or (b) use Plex multi-episode naming. Read the support documents for additional information.

Read the info in the blue box regarding how Plex handles such files. Splitting them into individual episodes generally provides a better playback experience.

Naming & Organizing Your TV Shows

  1. Witches’ Feast is listed as season 2, episode 8 for both the aired and dvd order on TheTVDB. If you do not have the episode, just skip over it. Add all the other episodes as listed.

hi clicked on the pen but the advanced option aint coming up

You have to be using the server owner / admin account. Shared users cannot edit (edit: The pencil does not appear for shared users).

how do i know its an admin account

I checked my system. If you can see the pencil then you’re using an admin account. Guest accounts do not see the pencil icon.

If you still do not see Advanced, then you might try using another browser or try using a private/incognito window, which bypasses ad blockers, cookie blockers, etc.

That’s the season you’re editing. Select the same option on the show.
