Hello,
I added Jonny Quest to my library and plex automatcily found and matched it. The series and season artwork loaded fine BUT one of the episodes (s01e21) has a screenshot of the TV series An Idiot Abroad.
When I drill into and edit the artwork for that episode I see even more pictures of An Idiot Abroad with pictures of Jonny Quest. I’m really glad I screen all my content before I make it live. Just imagine if it was a screenshot of a horror film or even worse, some random porn series.
Does anyone know why this happening?
Apparently somebody uploaded these wrong pictures to TheMovieDatabase and never bothered to remove them.
You can help them by creating an account @TMDB and report the issue.

After looking at all of the episodes I found another one… I reported it.
I didn’t realize that plex will gather artwork from TheMovieDb for tv show content.

Actually, this has been deactivated again (for now) in PMS version 1.1.0
I think if you Plex Dance the affected episodes, the incorrect posters should vanish.
LOL! The Plex Dance. So, that’s what we call it. I’m very familiar with that dance.
Once themoviedb makes the changes I will go dancing again because I am on build 1.0.2.2413.

After I reported the mishap to TheMovieDb.com and waited a while (took a couple of weeks after they removed An Idiot Abroad) the episode artwork is now correct.
