Lately TV downloads just aren't showing up

Plex Media Server Logs_2019-09-04_18-27-04.zip (2.7 MB)
I have a Win 10 NUC with Sonarr, SABnzbd and Plex. Plex Player is on a Sony Bravia (Android TV app). It’s a new setup as before it was through a Roku. Lately some TV shows, like The Great British Bake Off, aren’t showing up. I see no problems in Sonarr or SAB and some other shows are showing up in Plex. I’ve double checked naming and it seems OK. This basic setup has been working fine for several years so I’m at a lose to explain it.

Could someone be so kind as to look at my logs to see if there are any hints?

Many thanks

Are you using the same paths for movies and shows from different library types?
You’re not mixing movies and tvshows are you?

No I don’t believe I’m mixing TV Shoes and Movies. TV shows from SABnzbd go to C:\Users\Tom\Desktop\TV Shows and Movies go to C:\Users\Tom\Desktop\Movies.

I just noticed that in SABnzbd the tv category folder/path was blank so I just added that path to TV Shows. However TV shows still seem to be in the proper locations.

If I go to C:\Users\Tom\Desktop\TV Shows The Great British Bake Off folder is there with a season 10 folder and the first two episodes. The second episode is named, “The Great British Bake Off - S10E02 - Biscuit Week HDTV-720p”.

Anybody see something wrong with my naming or something in the logs? I don’t have a clue where to start looking. Plex has been working perfectly for several years. I recently moved to the UK and am now using Android TV and the Plex app but Plex server is and has been on my NUC.

Yea… there are 3 dashes in that file name. Remove 2 of them thusly:
The Great British Bake Off - S10E02 - Biscuit Week [HDTV 720p]
… and everywhere else they appear [Plex ignores stuff in brackets - best to put stuff that may confuse Plex in brackets]
(pretty good naming otherwise)

Then Plex Dance the show:

(if ‘Refresh Metadata’ produces no positive result, I suppose - worth a try)

Thanks a lot! I’ll give this a shot tomorrow. It’s getting late here in the UK.

I saw that in your logs. They matched to a media item.

Please double check all your paths though. The movie scanner is scanning in the subfolder of your TV show path.

Thanks. Even if the movie path is wrong would that prevent the scan for TV Shows to be missed?

No it won’t.
Still, your logs indicate that the two episodes are detected & matched.
At this point I would do a Plex Dance on season 10.

Will do. Thanks again.

OK I did find a weird folder in the movie category and deleted it. I then did the complete Plex Dance but still British Bake Off isn’t showing up.

I completely deleted it in Sonarr and added it again. We’ll see tomorrow if it shows up.

Oh no… Sonarr integration… I’ve had terrible luck importing from Sonarr.

I’ve used Sonarr for several years and rarely had any issues. Sonarr to SABnzbd to Plex. I could be all wet but I don’t think my missing Bake Off files has to do with Sonarr.
