PMS not scanning TV shows

Server Version#: 1.23.4.4805
Player Version#:

I just updated to the newest version of Plex media server in my Synology NAS and then I try to add a tv show. But Plex scanning only scan the last 7 episode of the tv show even tho it is 16 in total. All the name are the same except the episode # aren’t

Please provide the full PMS log zip file.

I think this is the right one

Not sure which specific show you are referring to but looking through your logs at the files it shows, you are not using the recommended naming method. Anything Plex manages to match is pure luck and not guaranteed to work. Naming and Organizing Your TV Show Files | Plex Support

The show that I was talking about is strong woman do bong soon, its a K-Drama.

I also just added Loki to my tv show but it won’t scan even though I think it was having the right name

Strong Girl Bong-soon.S01.2017.1080p/Strong Woman Do Bong Soon Episode 10.mp4

As I said, that is not the right way to name your files. The recommended is.

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon/Season 1/Strong Woman Do Bong Soon - S01E10.mp4

Could you also check Loki? Here is the new log.

I think I did put it in a right folder

I did follow ur instruction and put them in the correct folder and name. I still dunno why its not scanning

It won’t work. Let me try the file bot

Plex won’t scan the loki series that I added.

Uhm, I just create an administrator for you for the Synology NAS. Please go in and do something. Make a miracle so Plex could scanning my loki series.

OH I already did the permission thing that you said, I just wonder am I doing it right or what because plus won’t scanning the freaking file.

And this is how I were naming it. Loki then Loki Season 1 then Loki.Season1.Loki.S01E01 then so on

You must name things correctly. After you name and organize correctly, Plex Dance the entire show to clear the incorrect information from the Plex database.

Wrong (from your log files):

/volume1/benthien2007/Tv/MCU - Tv/Loki.Season 1/Loki.S01E06.mkv
/volume1/benthien2007/Tv/MCU - Tv/The.Falcon.and.the.Winter.Soldier.S01.1080p.WEB-DL.x265.10Bit.6CH-Pahe.in/The.Falcon.and.The.Winter.Soldier.S01E06.One.World.One.People.1080p.WEB-DL.x265.10Bit.6CH-Pahe.in.mkv

Correct:

/volume1/benthien2007/Tv/MCU - Tv/ <-- TV Library MUST point here, not at .../Tv
.../Loki <-- Every show in its own directory
....../Season 01 <--"Season" in English, two digits for season number
.........Loki - s01e06.mkv <-- Naming per Plex documentation
.../The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
....../Season 01
........./The Falcon and the Winter Soldier - s01e06.mkv

It won’t change anything. Here is a new log
Plex Media Server Logs_2021-07-14_15-29-18.zip (3.7 MB)

It will if you follow directions and documentation.

Still wrong: /volume1/benthien2007/Tv/MCU - Tv/Loki/Season1

Edit: Season 01 not Season1. I know it sounds picky, and it is, but Plex is picky with TV shows, and it does make a difference.

It still won’t work
Edit:/benthien2007/Tv/MCU - Tv/Loki/Season 01

That’s better.

Now the episode names?

You must fix all six, not just one.

Then Plex Dance the entire show.
