Same issue here and I downgrade app then everything works ok. I have lifetime plexpass.

Same issue last beta 30 april doesnāt resolve that.
And i try to contact the team but plex team doesnāt have respect for older costumer.

I only enabled My Files app for the install permissions, then disabled when complete.
You may need to temporarily disable auto-blocker as well.

I have the same problem. Lifetime plex pass holder. Latest server on ubuntu, latest android app on samsung. Playing video from a long playlist results in frequent āsource errorā popups, with a close or retry option on the popup, (retry never works, and close stops the playlist completely). Very often I get the error and have to restart the playlist from the beginning. No problem with the Mac desktop app or browser, with same playlist.

Same issue, several of my users keep complaining my server doesnt work, works on webapp only. Came here looking for a solution, seems like plex devs dont care enough to even acknowledge the issue

Latest version still broken. I just subbed to plex pass today, and was hoping this functionality would be working. I wonder if we all start asking for refunds due to service not as described, how fast it will be fixed? Day 0 subscriber here, and not very impressed so farā¦

Found another post with the same issue with a post from a Plex Employee
" Thanks for the logs, the APK below should fix this if you want to side load it. It will be available in the next release (which should be in 2 weeks).

Also latest Android Plex update has also fixed the issue, but I am in the beta channel if that makes a difference.

Everyone who uses the app on mobile or tablet has this issue on my end.
They have been having issues the last week.
Update - itās now fixed and working for me (started working some time late June, not exactly sure which version fixed it)
Latest android app update (as of this post) did NOT fix it for me, sadly.
I still have many videos that used to play (and still do in the Plex desktop and web apps) which cause the source error every time.
I have now given up and rolled back to the old style Plex app on my phone, which plays all the videos that the new app canāt just fine.. Iāll check back in a couple of months to see if itās been fixed.
