Plex player LG WebOS4: video shrinks to upper-left corner

Running current versions of Server on Windows 7, and PMP LG TV client. Last couple of days I’ve been having a big problem playing 4K rips… the video either starts, or arbirarily during the movie, to shrink to a small rectangle in upper-left corner of screen. Video is not intact, looks garbled. I’ve turned off requiring or preferring secure connections. The server dashboard indicates the video is direct-playing.
