Library not updating

I am running the Plex plugin on my truenas server but seems to be having issues loading/viewing files.

It took some time to get plex to load in my movies the first time and through a lot of poking around I somehow got it to work finally.
I have since loaded more movies onto my truenas server in the plex location but they will not load in.

In plex when I edit the library file path the new movies are listed but when I accept the changes and reload the new movies dont show up.

I have tried restarting the plex plugin and restarting my truenas server several times but it doesnt seem to work.

Hoping someone has some insight, thanks in advance for the help.

Try rescanning the library from the list on the left hand side of Plex. If you hover over the server name you will see the three dots appear and in that menu lies the ability to rescan the server.

I believe this is what you are talking about.

These are the options that come up when I click the three dots by the server.

I did “scan library files” but nothing changed.

Try doing a Plex Dance and see if that alleviates it. A lot of these issues can be solved that way. I would do it for the whole library though not just individual files.
