Similar to another person on here, the METV Toons channel is missing in my lineup too. The channel is selectable from my HDHomeRun tuner, but there’s no channel data to associate with it in the PlexPass DVR.

I was able to get KBOI-TV CBS2 channels in Boise, Idaho, USA in Kaffeine using “us-ATSC-center-frequencies-8VSB” rather than “us-ID-Boise” ATSC. KBOI-TV still isn’t tuning in on Plex, however, even after a channel rescan. Where does Plex get its channel information by default?

Channels 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 don’t tune on Plex. They do with Kaffiene with same tuner as well as my smart tv tuner with same antenna.
So the EPG is there now just tuning is not working? Which tuner do you have?

MeTV Toons for ZIP codes in Upstate South Carolina (29607, 29615, 29687, etc…) is missing. It should be present for channel 28.2 (WWYA).
Any assistance in getting this guide data added would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, as per my original post on the topic, local channel 2 announced a frequency switch in late July and asked viewers to rescan. This is about the time we lost the ability to tune those channels and dvr stopped recording. I’m not positive that this is related, but we’ve been able to tune channel 2 for years using Plex with the WinTV-quadHD. Rescanning on Plex didn’t help. I reinstalled tuner on Plex too.
I was able to get Kaffiene to find channel 2 on the same Hauppauge tuner (Kaffiene shows this channel as strongest in area just as the station noticed said would happen). I also went over to our smart tv tuner, which uses the same antenna, and a rescan found these channels too. But Plex keeps saying “Could not tune channel. Please check your tuner or antenna.” And like I said, Kaffiene finds the channel on same tuner and antenna Plex uses.
And yes, the EPG schedule on Plex looks right for channel 2
It appears the station moved up to ATSC channel 20 where Kaffiene reports a frequency of 509.029 MHz 8-VSB as well as the various streams and audio channels. I think the channel was on a lower ATSC channel/frequency before and with lower power.
Is there a way to see what channel info Plex is using?
