Please note that we are situated in a location that has exceptional range in reception, We normally receive Boston, Providence, and Nashua NH stations

The guide data is wrong for 16.1 KUPX Utah16. Specifically during NHL Utah Hockey Club games. The channel’s website shows the correct guide information. 90% of the time the guide shows something other than the game that’s actually being broadcast. Watching the broadcast shows the game is playing, not whatever’s in the guide.

Seems like a Gracenote issue? Would love a fix for this as it makes it basically impossible to record Blazers games consistently - there aren’t really reruns of live sports so if you miss it because the guide was wrong you miss it for good. @BigWheel if you have the time to take a quick look at this it would be greatly appreciated by all the folks here in Portland trying to take advantage of our local NBA team’s new broadcast TV deal.
I guess we’ll wait and see if they air it or not, but it seems like the fault might actually be with KATU for this one. If the guide does end up being wrong, I actually know someone who works at KATU that could probably address this. I’ll reach out to them if it ends up being a problem.
A little update for those suffering the KATU missing Blazers games issue (@ghills88 and @PDXfoster)
I checked in with someone I know who works in engineering at KATU and they confirmed it’s a guide issue on their end that they’re working to correct. It looks like all we can do is sit tight and wait for them to get the guide straightened out, as it’s not a Plex/Gracenote issue. Straight from the source:
Every Blazers game with the exception of the TNT broadcasted game on 1/28 will be on KATU 2.2 (Charge!).
They’re still working out the program guides data since the national schedule for Charge keeps being prioritized… Eventually we’ll get it right!

I’ve posted repeatedly since June 2024. Plex version doesn’t matter, it never makes any difference. The server has even been reformatted with a different file system and the newest Plex clean installed, and of no surprise to anyone, the missing channels continue to be missing.

While other changes like ION Plus and MeTV Toons have been made in the EPG these other channels I listed have not been added to the EPG. I have lost track as to how many times I have posted about this issue. And again I ask why is there not an option in the channel mapping to just say “No Data Available” to a channel that I can receive but is not listed in the Select Channel pull down so I can at least watch the channel even though it has no EPG information to display?

Hello! In Cleveland the group which owns the Cavs recently started an OTA network that currently broadcasts live NBA G League, minor league hockey, and local high school football games (and possibly Cavs games in the future when the cable rights expire).
I’d love to see this added to the listings, thanks!

At least once a week I have to delete my tuner and reinstall and download the guide again. All HD channels show as Unknown Airing. This sometimes sorts it but not always, sometimes it needs doing a few times.
I see other posts dating back to 2021 for a similar issue with the UK guide, asking when its going to be fixed but still an issue.
I have reached out to Plex and received a reply to say they don’t deal with support by email and ask in the forums. As I am paying for a plex pass I expect better.
