Plex uses EPG data from Gracenote. The easiest way to get the channel info updated is to contact the station and tell them that they need to send updated info on that channel to Gracenote. They would have more incentive to fix it than Plex would.
I recently informed a local station of a repetitive error in the tv guide data from Gracenote and it was fixed in 2 days.

Uk Freeview guide is missing a lot of NEW flags on BBC 1HD and BBC 2HD has been happening for a few weeks now and is getting annoying as it doesn’t record! It missed the last 2 episodes of Shetland and the last two episodes of Return to Paradise!

More than one channel have multiple programs that list the program with Season/Episode and also just the current airing date. The programs with current airing date use the description for more general program detail. The programs with season and episode number offer specific detail for that episode.
Recorded programs with airing date lump all programs in each years’ directory.

What the actual problem or inaccuracy is: Channel as listed in lineup is for RewindTV. The actual broadcast channel is DEFY so the guide data does not match what is broadcast.

Plex will not allow channel 7.1 to be added. I have done the refresh of the channel guide, etc.
