This thread started on Dec 2020, we’re almost in March and there were exactly 0 fixes to all of our problems.
We have used the useless google form, we contacted them by mail, we’ve explained here the problems… no answer, no bugfix, no alternative, no solution for their side, so, yes, we have all the right to bash plex devs after more than 3 months of ignoring their paying customers.
I guess most of us paid a lifetime subscription and hence we’re no longer profitable, and they are ignoring us. That’s why they don’t stop releasing useless crap bloating the media server with extra paying subscriptions and leaving us on the corner.
It took to me 2 months and contribute in several open source projects to get my spanish EPG guide working on plex.
Lesson learnt. That’s why I will support from now on just open source non-profit projects like Jellyfin. On the PVR side, it works faster than plex, it supports M3U and XMLTV URLs directly (without the need of xteve or another proxy), and it can stream more than one stream at once from xteve.
Jellyfin just doesn’t detect commercials to delete on DVR, and it doesn’t jump episode intros, but I can live with that or wait until they can achieve this.
I’m done with plex. I will use sporadically to schedule recordings until Jellyfin can avoid commercials, then I will remove that piece of junk from my server and I will resell my lifetime subscription to someone else.

There are zero fixes for YOUR problems. The few problems I have had with the new EPG were fixed. You seem to be projecting that your problems are everyone’s problems.
Development resources go to where the money is, roughly that which affects the most users.
I have had a different issue for a year, but few people seem to be affected, so I doubt my issue will get fixed anytime soon.

Do you think that of 725 messages I’m the ONLY one who has problems since “the update we’ve waiting for”? Perhaps this modification works for YOU, but not for most of the people posting here. I invite to take a look before writing in capital letters I’m the only one affected by the change.
We are paying customers, so we can ask for a proper working solution of something they broke when they changed. Developers cannot make a change problems for some people and then, generate problems for other people. That’s as simple as is.
What is incomprehensible is how weeks and months are passing and no one on plex says a word about all the issues emerged since the change, how they are developing other stuff while bugs on the DVR are letting their customers without service.

Why doesn`t the new team from graceland anser us for the issues?
We’ve send them the Forms with the EPG Data we need, but there’s no reaction.
For all Plex Pass users it’s a very bad service. Before the changement have come in December everything work well 
but now it’s frustated!
@sa2000 can you get them to check the Channel 5 line up in the UK. There’s nothing from Saturday onwards. Just to be announced meaning loads of recordings are scheduled.
This was highlighted a week or so ago with the online form but no changes.

I am OX25 and Channel 5 HD is fine (haven’t checked SD).
SO15 postcode. Both Channel 5 HD and SD from Saturday at 8pm onwards both showing nothing on the EPG

It’s the same here - along with ITV, ITV +1, 5 +1, Yesterday +1, ITV HD and CITV - all from 6:00 Saturday morning (7:00 for the +1 channels).
Post code is CV23.

Just done a manual guide update and Channel 5 and other channels seems updated now.

It looks like the problem might have been client side rather than being a data related issue:
- The 2:00 am auto update should have picked up the data - given that it would have ran after @Bazrat’s manual refresh.
- The latest Plex Server beta fixes an issue with the butler not running some tasks.
- After installing said beta, I now have data for those that I listed above

How often does Plex pull new data down from GraceNote? I’m still missing a new channel. I find it hard to believe GraceNote haven’t corrected their own epg yet.
should be daily (but actually during the night, I think).

Same problem here… Hero, Jim, Liv and Nelonen has “Julkaistaan pian” text (this text also changes to “Unknown Airing” sometimes).
And I had manually map channels to get this even working.
And still cannot see HD channels logo for HEROHD, JIMHDF and LIVFHD.
Hope this get fixed soon…

Has there be any update regarding this case ? I believe that Poland is still not migrated as of today because there hasn’t been an announcement posted jet, right ?
