’m quite surprised that is what you’re seeing KOXI-CD broadcasting. Are you for certain that’s the programming you see tuning into these channels. I just checked these channels on my end on 10/7 and i see different as follows.

20.1 - Jewelry TV (Station removed Azteca America after METV 20.7 was added not sure when)
20.2 - NTD (New Tang Dynasty)
20.3 - Buzzr
20.4 - Telemundo
20.5 - Shop LC
20.6 - LX
20.7 - METV

On the HDHomerun app, 20.1 still lists Azteca America but has mapped the rest accurately
As you may have noticed the Portland, OR OTA market is strange with the programming changes.

The 2 sets of channels appear to be KQRE-LD and KOXI-CD
We may end up with Gracenote having both sets in the lineups for 97003 or 97038 -

@TerryJarvis - Please could you rescan the actual channels on the HD Homerun setup app and let me know what you now see in channel numbers and channel names for 20.x - is is the KQRE-LD or KOXI-CD set

Plex reckons it is currently (7th October 2022) recording Batwoman S3 E10 “Toxic” on Channel 031 - E4 Extra as we speak between 22:00 to 23:00 (BST):

However, if I look at the guide, then Plex reports that “Father Ted” is currently showing on Channel 031 - 4 Extra:

Update: I’ve now played back the recording and it was indeed two episodes of Father Ted

We do have an open issue where changes to what is scheduled do not get picked up till a restart of Plex Media Server. Is it possible that the guide had the Batman episode airing on the 7th and then subsequently got corrected and that change was not picked up to reschedule the recording?

May be debug server logs at the time may have shed some light with some clues to back this theory -

New sub-channel WTPZ 5.5 is QVC, but is missing from the guide data, so cannot be mapped.

I have noticed that the time zone is incorrect for two stations in the guide. All shows for these stations are 3 hours before the actual time for the shows.

If I manage to get xmltv for these problematic channels, how to combine them with Plex’s own EPG for other channels that work already fine

It is not possible to mix xmltv with non xmltv EPG sources

The episode numbers for Season 6 of Rick and Morty in the EPG appear to be incorrect.

These were fine until yesterday’s episode which was Season 6, Episode 5.
I can’t see what it showed in the guide but it appears to have had no episode number as it was recorded into a file named Rick and Morty (2013) - 2022-10-02 13 00 00 - Final DeSmithation.mp4 (although it was in the Season 6 folder and Plex somehow still identifies it as being Episode 5).

It is possible that the episode / season data did not come in time to be picked up

Well, that would have been nice; I managed to fine tune epg grabber for these problematic channels, but I’d like to use this fine EPG Plex provides for all the ones that work. Could I somehow circumvent this if I’d add second tuner, ie. use different epg providers for different tuners then?

I think the problem is the channel provider itself, however these were available with that one epg provider you used some years ago.

Finland / all zipcodes (mine is 00730) / Nelonen (4), Liv (8), JIM (9), Hero (14). All four channes are from single media group Sanomat, one of three major here in Finland.

It is not possible to have one DVR on EPG download and one DVR on xmltv
They are all xmltv or EPG download

Gracenote do not have schedules for these channels. Only suggestion at this point is to find an xmltv source for Finland TV channels

Afternoon, not sure how long it takes for them to update listings, but 11.7 and 11.8 for Kare in Minneapolis MN, show up as an available channel, but is not in the pop up list that I assume links the channels to the guide… I think you last noted this in 9-5 and now its 10-11 and still not selectable.

On another note, I am also seeing where the brief episode descriptions show up in the guide, but are not attaching to a recording, the episode has no description text. The show has the general description, but not the episodes. Has this been reported? Is it some sort of bug or am I missing a setting somewhere?

My 1st post so sorry if it’s in the wrong place. I didn’t see anywhere else to click to post. Plex guide missing last 2 local ABC side bands (24.7 Comet and 24.8 Charge) for zip code 38133. They show up in the channel scan, but not in the “matching/mapping” list. TVlistings.gracenote.com for this area shows them and the guide data. They are viewable and with guide on my HD HomeRun Extend. I noticed first on the server running on Windows 11 so setup my old computer running Windows 10, yes both are updated to the newest Windows and Plex versions, but they both show the same thing; or don’t show may be a better way to put it.. I have deleted the DVR on both and set them up again (which includes scanning for channels and downloading the guide info of course) with no luck. Not sure what else I can try. There are a couple more side bands missing and 1 “main” channel along with it’s sidebands for channels that I receive, but I’m not really concerned about them since I likely wouldn’t watch them. 24-7 (Comet) I watch several shows and movies on and a few on 24-8 (Charge). Help would be greatly appreciated!

Only channels 9.8 and 9.10 additions appear to have been done. I have asked Gracenote for status of remaining changes:
correcting 2.2 / 2.6 and adding 11.7 / 11.8

It is a bug that has just got fixed in the latest beta 1.29.1
