Ah, okay. Lets hope they are added soon.
This has been referred to Gracenote
Several channels are missing from the EPG in the Salt Lake City Market; zip code 84058. The channels show up fine in the HDHomeRun app and are detected as valid channels in Plex Live TV and DVR setup but they do not show as channels that can be assigned from the drop-down list.
As seen in the screenshot, the 8.x channels stop at 8.3. The 8.4, 8.5, 8.6 and 8.7 channels (Heroes, MeTV+, Story and Movies!) are missing. They do not appear anywhere as other channel numbers in the list.
HDHR devices (2) have been deleted and re-added and guide refreshed several times.
Plex version 1.30.2.6563
This was from the library, but the text ultimately came from the EPG. The season was in the fall and ended in Dec.
Ben Fogle New Lives in the Wild, Channel 5, Season 17, Channel 5 (SD) or 105 (HD) Tuesdays 9pm should be marked as NEW
Freeview UK
Plex 1.62.2.3451
Any update on this? Will they be added to their database?
Also, looks like there is a new SD channel for 93103:
3.5 Telemun

I don’t actually see any 8.x channels in the zip code 84058 Local Broadcast Listings lineup. Which lineup are you using ?
The request to add 8,x channels from KCSG-LD for Salt Lake City was already referred to Gracenote in December - I will ask for update on status

but the text ultimately came from the EPG.
Unfortunately I cannot check this retrospectively. Please let me know if you come across it in the EPG Guide date - giving me zip code, lineup name, channel number, channel name and program and episode and airing date/time

Ben Fogle New Lives in the Wild, Channel 5, Season 17, Channel 5 (SD) or 105 (HD) Tuesdays 9pm should be marked as NEW
This type of error in the EPG happens frequently and raising it with Gracenote would not help as the fix would be too late to be of any benefit. If it is important that you do not miss any recording, suggest you change the recording setting to be for New and Repeats.
If we find there is a repeated issue with a specific channel then I can raise this. The response from Gracenote will probably be that this was what the station provided them in the metadata

Any update on this? Will they be added to their database
I have asked Gracenote for an update. For the channels they refer to as “Low Powered Channels” the channels are deemed “out of scope” for their database but they said they would review each request

ooks like there is a new SD channel for 93103:
3.5 Telemun
I have referred this to Gracenote

ZIP: 16686
Connection: OTA
Channels: 19.1(WSPZ), 47.7 (TruReal), 47.8 (Newsy), 47.9 (PFF),
Gracenote hasnt added these yet, any updates can you check please.
My DVB-C TV (over FttH) provider is not listed for my Country / Postal code:
Netherlands / “5616SB”.
My provider is TriNed, see the DVB-C listing on their website:
https://www.trined.nl/diensten/televisie/zenderoverzicht/
When I try to add the (229) channels that are detected by my HDHomeRun EXPAND, they don’t match the other available providers in the line-up, so I could spend a lot of time trying to match all of them from multiple other ISP’s, but I was hoping this could be done by the EPG provider
(BTW the 229 channels also include radio channels, I was hoping to be able to listen to those too by Plex, but I don’t think that’ll be possible?)
Lot’s of providers, but no TriNed:
In the detection/matching there are a lot of issues, e.g. some channels are available in SD and in HD and it is matching the SD as if it is the HD one:
And then the actual HD is ignored:
I hope that this will work properly when TriNed is available?
Thanks!
wow, i just noticed, all free tv (don’t have paytv) channels are almost complete now.

Only two channel are still missing in the lineup. (not important for me, just for complete lineup)
Radio channel 8 (WDR Maus / Die Maus)
TV channel 27 (Sparhandy TV)

Gracenote hasnt added these yet, any updates can you check pleas
The initial response from Gracenote was that these channels are out of scope for their database - and they will consider the request - but no timescales given
They class channels as out of scope if they deem them to be “low power broadcast stations” . Out of scope channels are not automatically added. They will review each request
I do not have an ETA from them on when or if they will be added. It has only been just over 2 weeks since the request went in

I have put in a request to Gracenote to consider adding lineup and schedules for this provider.
