yes - typo. sorry. It is as @captain_caveman2k said. 1.32.4.7126
I recreated my DVR 3 weeks ago, as I’m in the UK and had originally selected Local Broadcast Listings and wanted to switch to Freeview.
This was working fine, all my scheduled recordings carried across (nothing was restricted to a particular channel).
However, today I noticed that almost all my scheduled recordings (including some I only created after recreating the DVR) showed “No upcoming airings” and I needed to cancel and recreate them to get them to work. This appears to have happened some time in the last week.
Has anything changed recently which could have affected this, such as a change in the ids associated with the shows and movies?
Plex also recently updated to to 1.32.3.7089, I’m not sure if that coincides with when this happened.
My scheduled recordings were also partly gone.
There was a EPG Outage this morning.
I tryed to reschedule them, but now some are duplicated in the priority list… one with airings, one without.
Server Version 1.31.3.6868

I’m not sure how big an issue this might be, but I am seeing an Unknown Airing message for the entirety of today for a few channels. Example below
Guide: Freesat (SM3)
Channel Examples: ITV2HD, ITV2+1 among others.
Ya, it’s actually spreading to more and more channels as time goes on, either “Unknow Airing” or the channel name repeated as guide data
Like a cancer on the guide. I’ve had it growing for a day or two now. Tried deleting and re-adding tuners, applied all updates, reboots…
Problem exists for me on both PC client and ROKU (Plex and Plex Preview).
Good to know its not just me.
Thats another week dealing with DVR anxiety then with Plex.
@sa2000 , any chance this could be looked into asap? I think we’ve all suffered enough now with the TV Guide fiasco’s ![]()
For me it’s mostly fixed in the latest official beta. ( 1.32.3.7089)
There are still 15 airings “to be announced” before there were more than 1000.
Yesterday was an EPG outage, maybe do another refresh?
Anyway waiting for the priority fix, maybe in 1.32.4.? @sa2000
Same problem, I’ve got shows that recorded as close as Tuesday just gone and the same show is on tonight and is not being picked up anymore. This is happening with at least 1 more, but likely more than that, haven’t checked yet.
Ooof! WTF - this is exactly why I do manual updates from the Public plex repository, so I am not surprised by random bugs in Plex. But here I am NOT updating any of my server versions and yet I still see some weird guide issue making me not record season passes that have been recording fine for YEARS.
VERY BAD FORM PLEX - KEEP THESE BUGS IN THE BETA repo!
I found the issue - referring to our engineering teams
This was after a change to the back end gracenote ingestion process and is not related to a version of Plex Media Server
This is my point! Why would a back end gracenote ingestion process change be exposed to Public Plex version users? You should be testing backend gracenote ingestion updates on the Beta users!
Ah, ok - then maybe my schedules will be recovered?
+1 - I’m also having this issue and hoping a backend ingestion fix will resolve the issue without having to recreate all of my recordings.
Thank you @sa2000 for your work on identifying the issue.
Also wanna report missing EPG data, i know you have found and reported the issue, just hoping for a speedy fix!
Edit: i would also add that while here https://status.plex.tv/incidents/zm7h6g8y3fh3 seems to imply that the epg data should be working it still is not for me even after refreshing the data
@sa2000
btw. from all schedules the pictures are missing…
Boggles the mind that something so core to the operation of the LiveTV/DVR feature can be changed with no regression testing whatsoever. Who needs a guide? ![]()
Not the first time and I’ll take odds it’s not the last. Still waiting for time shifting to properly function. Every night I have to forward through a couple hours of programming to get to the “Start From Beginning” because my wife has been watching the same station on a different ROKU in the bedroom for those couple hours.
How long will we have to wait before LiveTV/DVR has a useful guide again and we can see what’s on and record things?
Noticed today that most of the schedules were again showing “No upcoming airings” and needed to be cancelled and recreated again. Also, like others, I’m seeing that the new schedules in “Recording Priority” are not showing a poster while the originals ones did.
Is this likely to happen every time new schedule data is ingested, so should I potentially disable EPG refreshes until it is resolved?
The fix for the “No Upcoming airings” in DVR Schedules was deployed yesterday and the overnight scheduled tasks EPG Guide Refresh or a Manual EPG Guide refresh should make the schedules see the forthcoming airings.
But any scheduled recordings created between Monday 25th and yesterday will need to be recreated as they may be referencing the wrong Identifiers
If there is an issue with posters and assuming the actions above done with regards to refresh or recreating schedules if made between 25th May and 1st June, I would need to investigate with screenshots / details of zip code/ lineup / channel / show / airing time to start an investigation.
May require also to see the Plex Media Server database (zip) and zip of copy of the EPG database. That can come in after the initial investigation
@sa2000 et al at Plex:
I do think that the ingestion change overnight has successfully addressed my EPG & LiveTV DVR scheduling issues.
