@DocX Awesome do you mind sending logs to sixonesis? He needs client and server logs along with the description.
Give me directions and I will try to do that. Iāve never sent logs before. What options do I need to set on my server to log it? I think I have logs turned off right now. And tell me what file or part of a file to send.

Ok, I turned on Network Logging on the Shield. As far as the server log settings, do you want Verbose or Debug or both turned on?
nope just go to Troubleshooting on the left side on your dashboard and click download logs.
As for Network Logging on the Shield now take that Ip address and open it on a computer then right click that text info and save as a text file. Thatās it, send both files to sixones.

The link that I provided above where I was trying to consolidate any problems that came up on the alpha 8.15 built has been taken down. I thought by donating my time this would have been a good idea to track these problems and squash them before beta. Iām not a Plex employee so Iām probably not the person that should be running that, and I respect that.
. Although I still think someone should be running it to make it easier for all the users to track, at least until it hits beta. Any problems with this build I think you can post in the link below even though it says fire stick as thatās where the build was released. Iām just super happy that 8.15 fixes most of the buffer problems, even though a couple problems have come up on this build itās to be expected till it gets polished.
Iām late to the party here but Iāve also been having the same problem (Windows 10 server and Sony Android TVās). When recording live TV and trying to play back at the same time, it only plays a few seconds then buffers. Sometimes it gets stuck in a loop playing the same few seconds.
Please let me know if need someone else to test and provide server/client logs. The links to the alpha builds seem to be gone but let me know if you want me to test certain builds.
@eltonline Please let them know in the fire stick link thatās above as this one is pretty much unmonitored by Plex.
Hi @JasonsPlex . I didnāt post there because the description is for Firestick exiting to the guide and I dont use Firestick. My issue is live TV continuing to buffer when its recording which it only started doing recently.
Do you think I should post there anyway? Some of these issues appear to be generic but they are only posting beta versions for Firestick.
I do agree it doesnāt make much sense to post there but it looks like thatās where the beta was initially released and thatās where the subject actually has been brought up. They are aware of it though. You can also send logs to sixones if youāre familiar with how to do that. And just let him know that youāre experiencing this issue, heās also received logs from other people already about it on 8.15 beta for Android.
Same issue but on Chromecast with Google TV. Will provide logs from two different windows servers if needed. (R710 &R720.)
Glad I found this thread as I was going crazy thinking it was a hardware problem. But looks not to be the case now. Having buffering problem with OTA tv/dvr with an i5 pc, pi 4, as servers and pc,iPad,android tv,roku box, Samsung S10eā¦as u see, a problem on every platform I try.
Very surprised to find out this is a problem with Plex giving that this is a main selling Point for the Plex pass!!!(reason I was gonna buy it)ā¦not now!!!
Iāve been rocking HDhomerun with a raspberry pi running TVheadend (as backend), and another raspberry pi running Kodi (and tvheadend plugin(frontend), implementing live TV with DVR. works great, never any buffering, sum audio offset sum times with 1080 and 5.1 but tweekable. and itās free!!!..yet a pain to setup. Ppls YT info vids helped. I Would like the plex setup and features if it workedā¦guess Iāll check it from time to time. But Iām happy with my setup as only need it in one room anyway. So if u have the time/hardware, TVHEADEND the softwareā¦with a HDHomeRun and Kodi
