Locked out of Plex (Synology NAS), Preferences.xml doesn't contain the attributes/key pairs

I have recently formatted my main disk on my Synology NAS running Plex.

When trying to remove the account/authentication information as detailed in the support article (https://support.plex.tv/articles/204281528-why-am-i-locked-out-of-server-settings-and-how-do-i-get-in/), I’m asked to locate the Preferences.xml file and change the attributes/key pairs. I found the .xml file, but when opened in Notepad/Edge/Opera, the file doesn’t contain any of the key pairs described, and so I can’t remove them if they aren’t there. How do I proceed?

Do not use Windows-based text editors to edit the text files on the Syno to modify them. (view only is ok)

There is a text editor in the Synology if needed.

This worked, thank you.
