Hello, I run Plex Media Server on a Terramaster F5-221 since 3 years now. Remote access always worked. But about a few months ago, I moved to a new flat and changed my internet operator, I also updated my NAS OS and had a lot of things to do outside of my server. I realized that I didn’t have remote access and it’s been awhile now. I tried many things but to no effects and it’s been month now that I can’t enjoy Plex correctly outside of my home and that my users can’t use it well too.

What could cause the issue ?
I didn’t manage to manually forward a port but I never needed one before.
Please help
Thanks

Did you already have a look at the related troubleshooting support article?

There’s also a guide with some more details on how to troubleshoot remote access issues.

Yes I did follow through these support articles but to no help.

We’ll need the actual results/findings of the individual checks to further troubleshoot your remote access issues.

I’m not sure if I understood you correctly.
I checked to see if my router supports UPnP and it does. I toggled it on and off it didn’t change anything.
As for the antivirus I have none on my computer nor on my NAS.

In that case I suggest you take a look at the second link from my response (the basics of remote access troubleshooting).

UPnP works in some environments but isn’t necessarily the best way to get this done. In addition there’s a number of other parties/components which can interfere with your remote access setup — some of them are under your control, others aren’t.
