Manual install of PMS update

I got notice that there is a P MS update available. When I clicked to update I was told to install manually. I downloaded the file and clicked on it to open it and received the message

I have previously installed a Key which I thought would enable updates to be installed normally. I looked in “support articles” for Manual install and found nothing. How do I update my PMS version on a Synology DS 218+?

If you have PMS installed on your Synology DiskStation, you’ll also need to update the package there.

To add to the above,

If you’ve manually downloaded the SPK file.

  1. Package Center
  2. Click “Manual Install”
  3. Browse to & Select the SPK file
  4. OK to start the upload
