The Legend of the Condor Heroes 2008 is a 50 episodes series, thus it does into my TV show library. The Legend of the Condor Heroes 2003 is also a TV show (both being adapted from the same novel).
Thus, I put the drama into the TV show folder. I don’t think it’s the folder naming that is the problem. It’s the Plex Agent that’s pulling info wrongly.
As you can see, it found both adaptations of the show. However, note that the first show found is listed as 2003 instead of 2008 (which is when this adaptation aired). Other than that, the poster matches the drama I’m trying to correct. Usually, I would be fine with the incorrect year. However, it’s also pulling metadata from the 2003 version that includes a wrong cast list.

I’m planning on putting both versions of the drama adaptations on my server and want to make sure each has its correct information.
I’m also suspecting that it’s the “Plex TV Agent” that’s causing the issue, as when I temporarily switched over to the TVBD agent, the problem is gone. I’m using the Plex TV Agent as I found it smoother and faster than the previous version.
On another note, I have performed the Plex dance many times and the result was always the same. I also tried naming the folder with it’s database ID like you did and it still gave me the same result. It’s why I conclude that it’s the Plex TV Agent that’s the problem.
