I have regular adults movies, documentary movies and kids movies sections in my library under the same user. Some times I add a movie to the adults section but decide later it belongs in the kids section. It would be nice to have the option of moving the movie to a different library within the user interface of PHT or the web interface (along side the delete option). I believe for this to work the entire folder containing the movie will have to get transferred to where the kids movies sections is in the hard drive, and since there could be more than one paths under the same kids movie sections, either the PMS will let you choose or automatically select it based on perhaps hard drive space..
I know this is bit on the advanced user side but though of it this morning and wanted to share it.
This sort of thing can easily be solved with proper labeling system. The current labeling has its limitations and ultimately require separate contents by sections like you have. I feel that if labeling is improved, there wouldn't be need for you to separate the sections unless you just like having separate sections for easier navigation (for you).
Another reason to have separate sections and then separate folders is some OS's only support a finite number of files or folders within a folder. Once you exceed that number you have a problem with the entire directory structure.
Usually this is limited to some of the lower end NAS devices, but not always.
One way around this is to make a folder for each letter of the alpha, one for numbers and one for special characters, for a total of 28 base folders. Put the movies in their own folders inside the right alpha folder and then you could have different reso's of each movie if you wanted, the subs, fan art, etc, under this "movie" folder.
Navigating it is easy, and if you use the rule that the words "a", "an", "the" aren't words for your naming, you can still cram in a lot of movies per alpha folder... (Do the math, if the OS is limited to say, 1024 files/folders per folder... 28x1024 = you don't have a life!) :)

This is currently true for Mac OS, I can’t remember what the approx number of files is but too many in a folder will cause the UI to freeze for few seconds at access. However, the new Apple file system just announced at WWDC 2017 might resolve that. Looking forward to re-format all my HDs.

A couple years later I can’t still rely on the labeling system, I keep doing things manually.
