HI, I need some help here in the library setting up.
I have try certain method but is still the same.
Lets say i have 3 folder. A,B & C
A folder 10 episode of anime
B folder have 2 sub folder “SEASON 1” & 'OVA" with 10 & 5 files in it respectively
C folder have 2 sub folder “SEASON 1” & “SEASON 2” with 100 & 200 files in it repsectively
but when i click on the anime inside for A is fine, for B it only shows up SEASON 1 files, OVA dont have, for C not all the episode in the SEASON 1 & 2 is shown out.
As soon as you step outside Plex’s comfort zone (which is dictated by how thetvdb wants it) you will, sooner or later, get various results that can stretch from “nothing shows up” to “some shows up”. In your example above, you clearly aren’t naming and structuring as it should be - A shouldn’t have files directly in it. All things TV-related in Plex needs a Season folder. TV Shows\Show A\Season 01\Show A - S01E01.mp4 … B shouldn’t have any “OVA” folder within it but a season folder or perhaps a specials folder etc.
Plex tries it best to be forgiving and match as good as it can, but in the end it wants a certain layout in order to match it correctly. If you have media that doesn’t conform to the normal layout (or perhaps doesn’t even exists on thetvdb) it is best to find a different agent such as the anidb (or other, some use the dvd-agent to name another example).
just a quick question. If under ‘specials’ i have 3 same anime but different movie, how were you all going to name it?
You were a bit unclear here. “3 same anime but different movie” ???
Look up your tv show on TheTVDB.
OVAs and these types of movies which take place in the same “universe” or are simply a “cut” version of the tv show usually appear in the ‘Specials’ season (which in Plex uses the season number 0). https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/comment/779113/#Comment_779113

sorry i mean i have this anime with 3 different movie, movie 1 (1epi), movie 2 (1epi), movie 3 (4epi), just curious how are you going to name it.
Sorry I still don’t understand. “1 Anime with 3 movies”?
Could you please tell me the actual title of the Anime? This may be easier.
Better yet, find your stuff on thetvdb and give the episodes the same name, season number and episode number to match the website. It will match every time then. If you can’t find your stuff on thetvdb, then things get tricky.
