try filtering on duplicates.
I have done that and even tried the unmatched filter as well, but I dont have any duplicates or unmatched items.
Can you sort your library by anything but By Title
?
This will show the actual # of movies (e.g. in case if your libraries has some collections, hiding their items in the regular view).
Another option could be some titles matching the movie spread across multiple files
naming schema (e.g. My Movie - Part1.ext
and My Movie - Part2.ext
being treated as a single item My Movie
→ no duplicates involved in this case).
I sorted my library by year instead of by title and it shows the same amount of movies.
how do I see if movies have been spread across multiple files?
then it may be a part 1 and 2 it thought was first and second halves of one movie. Like Harry Potter Part 1, Harry Potter Part 2 if you have file names that end with those then i would do get info on those.
There is Web tools as well which may help with this general sort of thing WebTools-NG
ifi upload my logs would someone be able to tell me if. there is anything wrong?
It’ll be easier to check out the WebTools app linked above.
Scanning your logs for 2 missing items in a forest of almost 6k items won’t be a simple task
ok I will tr the web tools. how do I download it? I am on the page, but I dont see anywhere to download for my Mac…
Assets
section of the latest releaseok I got it up and running, im not sure what I need to do now.
ok I got it to export my movies to a cvs file.
They want you to export a CSV file from your movie library in the level All

After it’s done, compare the field named Part File Path
with the folders in your file system
so it appears that two of the movies that were not in my library were
ghostbusters afterlife and 47 meters down.
on my synology, how can I make sure all movies and subfolders all have the same permissions? I recently had those 2 movies upgraded in radarr, I think it might be radarr that is changing the permissions on the folders.
