This is also seems to affect the DVR Schedule engine though - for example, on any Plex client app, Sunday’s episode of The Handmaid’s Tale is not shown in the Recording Schedule. Will this prevent the DVR from recording, or is it just a presentational issue?

I can rule out manual refresh because I did that about 5 times that day trying to fix it. It was all day most channels that day but not all, they all said to be announced 1/1/17 like you see in the screenshot.

The issue resulting in generic blocks of "xxxxx programming " due to overlapping airings has now been resolved. A full EPG refresh is needed to be run to correct the guide
