Did a refresh this morning and things are looking much better
Ingestion of the 28th July data completed earlier this morning and cache should have cleared by 9am this morning - a full EPG refresh will pick the updates.
Looking a lot better here, from my quick scan before workā¦, The following problems have returned though:
The Good Place - Tomorrow 22:00 E4 - Missing new tag
Batwomen - Sunday 21:00 E4 - Missing new tag
8 Out of 10 Cats - From tomorrow 4 Music - No sequencing
@sa2000 - itās better indeed after a full EPG refresh, but still PBS only shows detail up to THU 19:00:

I want to record a programme at 20:30, which I still cannot schedule due to the missing detail.
Iām on Freesat South.
OK so Iāve done an EPG refresh now and C5 programming seems to be back, why wasnāt it picked up on the overnight guide refresh though? To expect customers to be manually refreshing the guide each day isnāt practical.
After refreshing the guideā¦
ā8 Out Of 10 Catsā on Friday 9pm Channel 4 is S20E01, not S09E07. Itās also a New series.
Cricket Highlights are messed up. There are three upcoming episodes and they look different (so had to schedule two recordings).
Thursday at 23:25PM on BBC 2 is labelled 7/30/20 - One Day Internationals 2020: England v Ireland Highlights
Saturday at 10:50PM on BBC 1 is labelled 1/1/20 - England v Ireland: Second One-Day International
Tuesday at 11:30PM on BBC2 is also labelled 1/1/20 - England v Ireland: Second One-Day International (instead of the third One-Day International).
Plenty of time to get picked up though and Formula 1 is looking accurate now.
Thursday 6th August on BBC2. Semi detached on Plex is due to start at 10.05pm and finish at 10.35pm. it appears itās 5 minutes out as every other TV Guide has it starting at 10pm and finishing at 10.30pm.
On Plex the previous show overturns by 5 minutes as it starts at the correct time. Iāve got it set to record but currently will miss the first 5 minutes of the show.
I will need to check the status after todayās ingestion of the 30th July data from our provider - cache should clear within an hour.
Todayās ingestion appears to have corrected these - the ingestion completed earlier and cache cleared by about 13:00
An EPG refresh now will pick the corrections
For āThe Good Placeā it appears that E4 changed its schedule and it is now āThe Inbetweenersā at that time and the EPG does have that
They appear to be out by 5 minutes. I will report this to our provider
The overnight refresh was before the ingestion of the new data from our provider. I have this internally raised as an area to look into. The daily ingestion of our provider data varies and there have been delays in last few days following the database issues our provider had.
This is in place now after todayās data ingestion earlier today
An EPG refresh now will (or any time after 1pm today) would pick this up
Thanks - would definitely be much better if the daily guide refresh came after the daily data ingestion so it was as up to date as possible.
Thanks - Batwoman still appears to be missing the New tag.
I wonder why the schedule has been changed - I can see from both the Freeview and Channel 4 websites that its not on this week or next ![]()
I refreshed about 15:00 this afternoon.
Upon further investigation something odd is happening inside Plex for Windows.
It is showing in the guide with the New tag:
But in the DVR Schedule it isnāt - as you can see here:
To make sure it wasnāt simply the DVR Schedule not showing the status, I scheduled QI that was about to start on BBC2, which is also New:
As you can see, it is showing the tag - so in summary Iām not sure what is going off. Modifing the recording to āNew Airings Onlyā and back to āNew and Repeat Airingsā has no effect.
Note to self: I must check the guide in future ![]()
It could be several things. It appears that we are not updating the DVR Schedule when the premiere/new indicator is flipped.
The Guide is where to check
This has been referred to our provider
