New Plex Guide Very Poor in UK

The Unknown Airings are to do with gaps and this will be corrected once we run the full ingestion later today - I have requested it and it has been scheduled

The same issue could also lead to some old generic entries not being replaced with actual programs

However, I do see that there may still be a few TBAs that will remain eg channel 4 from 11th October overnight for airings around 5 am

The exact same problem for Coronation Street and Emmerdale which are normally broadcast sometime between 7.00pm-9.00pm on most weekdays (Channel: ITV). In fact I don’t even think ITV ever shows replays for these shows, replays would normally be on sister channels such as ITV2.

Probably not the right place to put this, but looks like when using Sky HD/Sky Q - National lineup, it has the wrong channel under id 412. It should be Premier Sports, but is showing Sky Cinema Premiere. Which is also listed (correctly) under channel id 842.

There are some issues with Channel 4 on Sunday 11th October:

Formula 1 is currently “Eifel GP: Qualifying Highlights” instead of “Eifel GP: Race Highlights” and won’t record (I’m also recording Saturday’s Qualifying Highlights, hence Plex thinks Sunday’s is a duplicate episode).

Get Out is supposed to be scheduled for 22:55 to 00:50, but is showing as 22:55 to 00:05
Ouija is supposed to be scheduled for 00:50 to 02:20, but is showing as 00:05 to 02:20

There may be others, but these are what I am trying to record.

Yep
same as the last GP, it only recorded the qualifying on Saturday. Once again had to rely on All4 Catch Up and had to watch the commercials :rage::rage:

Appears to be ok now. New indicator is set for all Coronation Street airing on ITV. I just did a refresh (our ingestion of latest provider data completed and cache cleared by 11:20 am today)

This has been referred to our provider to fix the Sky lineups

Yes I can see new tags coming through now. Thank you!

Semi-related issue, the episode description has always been a generic one for Coronation Street, however on Monday (12th) both episodes that evening did have specific descriptions for the episode. But from Wednesday and onwards they appear to be back to just showing a generic description. :upside_down_face:

Thanks for reporting this.

I have mentioned this error to our provider together with a current issue where channel 4 and more4 data only goes up to Friday this week

I’m not entirely sure if it is worth posting these guide issues given the limited responses from Plex over the last month or so, but here goes

a) The 2008 repeats of East Enders on BBC4 (Channel 009) on Sunday from 23:55t are not sequenced. As you can see from the screen shot below the first is dated 18/10/2020 whilst the other three are 10/10/2020:

I believe they should be episodes that were shown 28/07/2008, 29/07/208, 31/07/2008 and 01/08/2008.

b) More issues with 4 Music (Channel 029) missing guide data - for all of next week from Monday at midnight:

c) Not all the repeat episodes of Taken on Paramount (Channel 031) are sequenced next week:

The two that are missing their series and episode data are:

27/10/20 04:00 - I believe this should be S2 E1
30/10/20 03:00 - Should be S2 E6

Given this they also appear to have a generic description for the episodes.

Can Sky History be fixed? It’s meant to be channel 123 but in the guide that is listed at Entertainment channel. Thanks!

Drama UK, The Bill missing episode Wednesday with Thursday showing as E81 and them Friday as E83. Suspect Thursday is E82 with E81 missing.

I presume you are referring to this channel on Sky lineup

I have referred this to our provider for
123 Sky History HD
223 Sky History HD + 1

The channel own schedule shows E82 “Out with a Bang” missed out. The numbering in the EPG for the mid-day weekday airings appears to tie up with the channel schedule Drama TV Channel - Watch Drama Online

and the EPG ties with these titles

I have referred this to our provider. Currently there are 2 out of 9 airings that are not sequenced

Many thanks - much appreciated

I have referred the lack of original air date information to our provider

Appears to be resolved now - suspect late processing of data

Yes, that’s right!
Thanks!

Also with the Sky line up 604 and 615 show the same guide. 604 is correct as Nickelodeon but 615 should be Nick Junior. Can this been fixed too?
Thanks
